Presidential vacation priorities: Yes to the Gay Games, No to a fallen general’s funeral

Dear Leader took time out of his busy vacation schedule this week to address athletes at the Gay Games.

But he was a no-show at Thursday’s Arlington National Cemetery funeral for Major General Harold J. Greene, who was killed in Afghanistan by one of Obama’s Islamic “partners.”

General Greene is the highest ranking Officer to die in the line of duty since the Vietnam War. He was also a graduate of RPI, and as it turns out, from the same class as me. Sadly, I did not have the honor of knowing him. R.I.P. General.

 

Newark, NJ is the nation’s unfriendliest city for the second year in a row

Well sure, the city that invented carjacking is never gonna be Mayberry RFD. And if you don’t like that, somebody’ll bust a cap in yo azz.

For the second year in a row, Newark was named the unfriendliest city in the United States by Conde Nast Traveler.

The state’s largest city is considered by most as an “airport city” that’s “crowded and overpriced,” the magazine said in its 2014 Readers’ Choice Survey.

Heck, the airport is the nicest part.
