In a stunning lack of self-awareness, Hillary asks “Why is there one standard for me and not for everybody else?”

Uh, maybe because “everybody else” who’s ever mishandled classified information like you did has gone to prison?

Which, alas, isn’t what she was talking about.

Hillary Clinton pushed back on questions over the transcripts of her paid speeches during a televised Democratic town hall Tuesday, asking, “Why is there one standard for me and not for everybody else?”

The former secretary of state has been criticized for her paid speeches, including three for Goldman Sachs that earned her $675,000. During a town hall in Nevada last week, she said she would release transcripts of the speeches “when everybody else does the same.”

Clinton echoed that promise again during CNN’s town hall on Tuesday, saying she’d release the speeches “if everybody does it, and that includes the Republicans.”

There’s a double standard for her alright, and she knows it. In fact, she’s counting on it. And her media lapdogs will do everything they can to perpetuate it, hoping against hope that they’ll be able to drag her over the finish line and into the White House.

They’re Ready For Hillary, but they’re not ready to write checks

People who vote for a living want Hillary Clinton to be their next benefactor. Because she’ll keep the gravy train rolling. But they’re not up for helping her cause.

The main super PAC supporting Hillary Clinton is struggling in its early efforts to line up cash towards a fundraising goal of as much as $500 million, according to sources with knowledge of its fundraising.

The group, Priorities USA Action, is trying to secure 30 or more pledges of at least $1 million apiece to be unveiled publicly when the former Secretary of State officially enters the race, sources say. But so far it has received only about ten firm commitments, and it is encountering resistance from top donors who have given to other Clinton-linked vehicles, including ostensibly aligned super PACs and even the apolitical Clinton Foundation.

“People are starting to worry that Priorities could be a weak link,” said a strategist who has worked with the various pro-Clinton outside groups.

The stumbles – and the slow fundraising start – raise doubts about a key assumption about Clinton’s strength as a presidential candidate: that her allies will be able to rely on a seemingly bottomless well of support from rich supporters to build an historic political money juggernaut that will overwhelm prospective rivals.

Over the last two years, the two super PACs that have been most active paving the way for an expected Clinton campaign – Brock’s American Bridge 21st Century and Ready for Hillary – raised a combined $29 million, according to Federal Election Commission filings.

Here’s a tip Clintonistas. Your candidate is the “weak link.” When you need $500 million and only raise $29 millon we call that FAILURE.

Hillary Clinton is Yesterday’s News. And her lackluster fundraising is proof.

The #VRWC Report: Purple People Beater Schadenfreude edition

Any day where public employee unionistas get whacked is a good day for America. And yesterday’s SCOTUS ruling in Harris v. Quinn means the Purple People Beaters will have to refund millions in ill-gotten union dues. Huzzah!

Here’s another good guy with a gun story. You know how it turns out.

Ignorance of the law is no excuse, unless you’re Lois Lerner. Then, “oopsie” is a perfectly fine explanation. Or so her attorney would have us believe.

Life in Obama’s military: Gay Pride one month, Sharia Law the next. Unsurprisingly, not everyone is OK with that.

Is water a ‘right’ in Detroit? The U.N. thinks so but here’s why they are wrong.

Is Barack Obama the OJ Simpson of the Oval Office. Or, just another dog. Why not both?

How convenient, White House announces capture of Benghazi attack suspect

Look, Squirrel!

A suspected terrorist linked to the 2012 Benghazi terror attack that killed four Americans has been captured inside Libya by U.S. forces and currently is en route to the United States, Fox News has learned.

Sources told Fox News that the suspect, Ansar al-Sharia commander Ahmed Abu Khattala, was captured Sunday during a joint U.S. military and law enforcement operation, and will face prosecution in the United States.

President Obama signed off on the mission on Friday night, Fox News is told. Khattala was captured south of Benghazi by U.S. special operators and is on his way to the U.S. aboard a Navy ship.

Also on Friday night, the IRS claimed it “lost” emails from 6 more key officials involved in the Lois Lerner scandal.

Purely coincidentally, I’m sure.

And Obama’s disastrous withdrawal from Iraq has also been in the news recently, much to the chagrin of Hillary Clinton’s publicist.

Then there’s the ongoing VA scandal which shows no signs of dissipating any time soon.

So, color me cynical, but it sure seems like a good time to divert our attention. And trot out what his sycophantic media will call a nice finish to the Benghazi issue and a “win” for their president.

Because, really, he’s never tried that tactic before, right?

Finally! An accomplishment Hillary Clinton supporters can be proud of.

She put an innocent man in jail.

It should send chills up the spine of every American that an innocent man was sent to jail for making a film that offended Muslims. It should send chills up the spine of every American that an innocent man was made a political prisoner in America to save the President’s re-election prospects.

Hillary Clinton told Charles Woods, father of Navy SEAL and Benghazi hero Tyrone Woods, “We are going to have the filmmaker arrested.”

It’s not a crime to “offend” Muslims. Is it?

But it sure is a crime to endanger Obama’s re-election prospects!

So, the next time someone asks Hillary about her “accomplishments,” she won’t have to be stumped.

Her Marxist mentors would be so proud!

Quinnipiac: Chris Christie’s troubles are Rand Paul’s and Paul Ryan’s gain, Hillary remains flat

All the media hype over Bridgegate has sunk Chris Christie’s poll numbers. But it hasn’t helped Hillary Clinton gain any ground.

Sorry Tom Moran, but these aren’t the poll numbers you were hoping for.

Secretary Clinton gets 43 percent today, with Gov. Christie at 42 percent. This compares to a 46 – 38 percent Christie lead in a November 20 survey by the independent Quinnipiac University.
Christie’s plunge does not help Clinton who is struggling against other Republicans:
  • U.S. Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky gets 47 percent to Clinton’s 43 percent;
  • Clinton is at 44 percent with 43 percent for U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas;
  • U.S. Rep. Paul Ryan of Wisconsin leads her 48 – 43 percent

I guess it’s time for the media to set their sights on two new targets.  The Hilldabeast must be carried into the White House by any means necessary. It said so on journ-o-list.
