Chris Christie and Hillary Clinton are neck and neck in Iowa

The Quinnipiac Poll had nothing better to ask America last week, so they decided to preview the 2016 presidential election.

Gov. Chris Christie would tie with former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton if the 2016 presidential race were held today, according to a new Quinnipiac poll of Iowa voters.

Hawkeye State voters put the Republican governor and Clinton in a dead heat with each earning 41 percent of the vote.

The poll surveyed 1,256 registered voters with a margin error of 2.8 percentage points.

A tie? Can’t have that! Begin the spin!

However, Iowa voters give Clinton a higher favorable to unfavorable rating (52 to 42) than Christie (42 to 16).

Hey statistician dude. 42 percent of Iowans don’t like The Hilldebeast. Only 16 percent of ’em dislike Chris Christie.

I may not be Nate Silver but I think it’d be easier to convince people with no opinion of you to like you than it would be to transform all those “dislikes” into “likes.”

Also buried in the poll results, Joe Biden’s presidential ambitions. Deeply buried. Christie trounces him by 17 points.

I’d be curious to see how “none of the above” did against Amtrak Joe. My guess is better than 17 points.
