Priorities? Rutgers paid Snooki $2K more to speak than acclaimed author Toni Morrison

Yes, that Snooki.  Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi walked away with a check for $32,000 of student activity fee dollars after a 1 hour Q&A session yesterday at the Livingston Student Center in Piscataway.

Rutgers also recently booked an appearance by Toni Morrison, author of “Beloved,” “Song of Solomon,” and other novels, to speak at their commencement ceremonies in May.  They’re paying the Nobel-winning author a $30,000 honorarium, the first time Rutgers will write a check for a graduation speaker.

The mind reels.
